Knowledge Nodes are domain AI assistants built on your own documents. Every answer cites the source title, page and excerpt.

## What It Does

- **Passage-Level Retrieval**: Returns the exact source excerpts that support each answer, merged into a concise natural-language response.
- **Source Anchoring**: Shows the source title, page and excerpt for every response, so answers stay traceable.
- **Local Languages**: Answers in local languages and dialects, with regionally appropriate guidance.
- **Analytics and Query Auditing**: Tracks common questions, knowledge gaps and answer satisfaction, so you know which content to update.

## Control and Audit

- **Guardrails**: Configurable access controls who sees which sources, and retrieval relevance is tuned for your domain language.
- **Where a person decides**: Every answer cites the originating document and passage, so users can verify it and auditors can trace decisions.
- **What gets logged**: Query auditing tracks common questions, knowledge gaps and answer satisfaction.

Included on every line: Tenant isolation, Full audit trail, POPIA and GDPR, Model choice. Praxis is the agent framework in VectorMind. Agents plan, call tools and validate their results, and every step is logged with its tool inputs and outputs.

## In Production: SAAI AI Farmer
